Cagbalete Island

Another way to enjoy Pahiyas Festival is to visit the Beautiful Beaches near Lucban. Cagbalete Island is a 1 hour drive from lucban and 4-5 hours drive from Manila. It's a good way to get away from the city hassle. It's really a nice island whenever you need a Vitamin Sea. Very Quite and Nature at its best. This island is rich in mangroves and the beach only shows up when low tide. Catch the  long sandbars and make good memories with your friends.

From Sabang Port you'll have to ride a ferry boat or hire a private boat to reach Cagbalete Island. Ferry boat has a schedule time, Trip's schedules are during morning and afternoon. Since it's pahiyas and we arrived late, Ferry Boats are not a choice anymore, so we rent our own boat. FYI, before you go straight to the port you have to log on their system for your own safety. Its a bit far from the port so make sure you log first before heading to port. Its so hard to get a boat since its Pahiyas. We waited for an hour and 30 mins bargaining with the boat mans and we didnt find one. So someone tip us to get a colorum boat! hahaha! We went to the next Barangay and Luckily we found a boat! yay!

Sweet relaxing ambiance, Calm waves and Sunny Weather. A good place for Beach Bumming. The Scenery is too Instagrammable! Sadly the super low tide is only in the morning and we didnt catch the sandbars. FYI: There is no electricity in the area so make sure you bring your bankable powerbanks with you! The more MAH the more pictures. XX

It is a peaceful haven for people looking for solitude. It is a place to bond with special people. Sometimes your travel buddies would make a lot of difference and you just have to enjoy every second of it! Im glad and thankful to be back in this Paradise, and I promise to go back again and again!
